Borgo alle Vigne Update - March 2018
It is hard to believe that Hilton Grand Vacations Club at Borgo alle Vigne has now been open for 4 years and continues to attract visitors from worldwide destinations, drawing international appeal.
As Borgo continues to mature and evolve, the site is still looking very ‘fresh’ despite operating for the last four years at very high levels of occupancy. Rates for this year are already at 86% and for the period May to October the resort is essentially full, with an average occupancy of 96%.
Borgo has truly flourished over the years and definitely looks as though it belongs within the rural Tuscan countryside, overlooking the village of Pecciolli.
Following a recent visit to Borgo, Best Distribution is pleased to report that the second phase of the development has now commenced, with the groundwork and entrance roadway being cleared and made ready for the main works to commence during April.
Phase 2 will comprise a further 2 units, each unit consisting of 5 apartments (4 x 2 bed and 1 x 3 bed apartments) including an onsite gym.
Investors who have followed the life of the project will know that this phase was originally planned to start several years ago and so this is seen as a big step in moving the project forward. The expected phase 2 completion date is currently estimated to be February 2019.
In a recent visit to a local restaurant in Terricciola there was positive feedback about the second phase due to the expected increase in business levels within the area from visitors to Borgo. It was clear from the comments received that Borgo has had a very positive impact within the local community and it is good to see the support for the project from visitors who return again and again.
