UK investment in nuclear power takes a step forward

In December, the UK nuclear Power regulator approved Horizon’s new ABWR (Advanced Boiling Water Reactor) for use in the UK. Horizon Nuclear Power will be installing the ABWR on its Isle of Anglesey and Oldbury-on-Severn sites bringing more infrastructure and jobs. In Anglesey, the ABWR will add to the power generation ecosystem that includes Orthios’ biomass power station, helping Wales to be at the forefront of clean power growth projects.
