Oasis Group End of Year Update

This year has seen the opening of the Oasis Group’s new
resort on the Mediterranean coast of Morocco, increasing the total number of
rooms available to just over 13,500. 

We have also, this year, seen the demise of Thomas Cook, and
although this has had a slight knock on effect with occupancy numbers, the
Group is working hard to fill the beds with guests from other markets, and
compared to 2018, the Group’s revenues for the year to date are up by over 9%
and gross margins are up by 10% for the same 11 months.

Looking forward to 2020, the Government of Portugal has informed
Oasis that they are suitable candidates for the allocation of some new capital
from the state-backed ‘Tourism Bonds’, something they should hear about by
February.
