Orthios rail terminal now open

Orthios, is delighted to announce that the Orthios Eco Parks rail terminal is open and available for business for the first time in over 6 years, in conjunction with the Armitt Group.

The Armitt Group, will operate, promote and market the Penrhos site rail sidings which are conveniently located adjacent to Holyhead Port.

The Port which operates 24 hours a day is a deep water, ‘lock-free’ facility and ideally located on the Irish Sea coast.

Lewis LeVasseur at Orthios group said “We are delighted to report that we have appointed Armitt Rail, also a division of The Armitt Group, to operate the rail assets on our Penrhos site. We are excited to work with Armitt, who will now actively promote and market the sidings and manage the operational aspects of the business. We are confident that this will lead to a boost in rail movements and revenues and secure the ongoing safe and successful operation of the assets on site.”
